AS Roma want Norwich City right-back Max Aarons

Espanyol have announced on their official website that they have signed Luis Miguel Afonso Fernandes and Sidnei Rechel da Silva Junior from Atletico Madrid and Benfica respectively.

The two players, better known as Pizzi and Sidnei, arrive at Cornella El Prat on season-long loan agreements.

After passing a medical at private clinic Creu Blanca yesterday, the two footballers committed their short-term future to the La Liga side.

Pizzi, 23, joined Atletico Madrid from Sporting Braga in the summer of 2011, but was then loaned to Deportivo La Coruna last season.

Ryan, 23, has starred since his move to Europe in 2013, twice named the Belgian Pro League Goalkeeper of the Year.
